So I’ve had this Republic City rap battle comic sitting unfinished for about three months now and I’m sorry to say that’s the way it’ll remain. The verses are really what matters most though, so I’m sure it’s still worth a laugh even though half of it is sketches! 

I think this is my new favorite thing ever.

I think I would’ve liked this finale better. ~ZING~

_{Ahh okay, so I was kind of song doodling on my keyboard and somehow it turned into THIS… I have always had the biggest affinity for music box versions of songs I like, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that I ended up coming up with one for the Legend of Korra Main Theme. ♥}

_{Despite the fact that there’s no vocals or lyrics added to it, it was really fun to make — I am in love with the original version so nothing could ever replace that, but I really enjoyed stripping it down and arranging it into something more delicate. (Not to mention relaxing… If you’re having trouble with your airbending, maybe you should chill out and meditate with this, ahaha.)}

so i thought, how funny would a fullmetal alchemist and legend of korra crossover comic be? I just recently saw the episode in brotherhood where Mustang gets cocky against Scar while it’s raining and he almost dies because he forgot and was barely saved by Hawkeye… that’s where I got this idea lmao

so I hope I did mustang’s hotness justice

and I decided to draw Korra in her modern getup because it would make most sense in this comic, I think

korra belongs to bryke
mustang belongs to arakawa

Don’t let his eyes fool you, he’s a waterbender through and through and is apparently one of the best healers in Republic City. In fact he’s so good all his services are free.

Except his clientele is exclusively the poor and the down-trodden, the street-kid caught in the cross-fire of a turf war or a refugee family struggling to get by or the bums that scuttle in the under-city. He’s a kind hearted man (Rumored to be a White Lotus deserter, although who’d abandon the White Lotus?), has a soft-spot for owl-cats, but he is so totally against Equality that he may do something desperate. (Especially after the capture and return of a metal-bending friend of his; poor Karl has never been the same)
